This is a pair of gold-plated male/female pin & socket contacts (a complete connector pin set), designed for reliable electrical and signal transmission in precision connectors, industrial wiring, automotive electronics, and new energy applications. The male pin and female socket form a stable mating connection, widely used in high-reliability scenarios.

  • 1. Pre-Assembly Inspection

    – Check for surface defects (scratches, plating damage) and dimensional consistency before use.

    – Verify that the male pin diameter matches the socket inner diameter to ensure a tight, reliable fit.


    2. Wire Connection (Crimping/Soldering)

    – Crimping: Insert the stripped wire into the hollow socket, aligning it with the side hole. Use a precision crimping tool to compress the socket around the wire, creating a secure mechanical and electrical bond.

    – Soldering (Optional)**: Apply low-temperature solder (≤260℃) through the side hole to attach the wire, avoiding overheating that could damage the gold plating. Clean residual flux after soldering.


    3. Assembly into Connector Housing

    – Align the step section of the pin/socket with the corresponding groove in the connector housing.

    – Gently press the pin/socket into the housing until the step locks into place, ensuring it cannot move axially.

    – Avoid excessive force to prevent deformation of the pin/socket or damage to the housing.


    4. Mating & Disconnection

    – Align the male pin with the female socket and insert smoothly to avoid bending the pin tip.

    – Ensure full mating to guarantee optimal electrical contact.

    – Pull straight back when disconnecting to avoid side stress that could damage the pin or socket.


    5. Storage & Environmental Notes

    – Store in a dry, dust-free environment (15–30℃, humidity ≤60%RH) to prevent gold plating oxidation.

    – Avoid exposure to corrosive gases, acids, or alkalis to maintain conductivity and appearance.


    6. Safety Precautions

    – Wear anti-static gloves during handling to prevent ESD damage to sensitive electronic components.

    – Do not exceed the rated current/voltage to avoid overheating, insulation breakdown, or electrical failure.
