1.Pre-Assembly Preparation:
nspect the product before use: Check for surface defects (scratches, plating damage, deformation) and ensure dimensional consistency between the male pin and female socket.
Verify that the pin diameter and socket inner diameter match the connector housing’s hole size to avoid loose fit or assembly difficulty.
Prepare necessary tools: Precision crimping tool (for crimping applications), low-temperature solder (≤260℃, for soldering applications), anti-static gloves, and cleaning cloth.
2.Crimping Method (Recommended):
Strip the wire insulation to a length matching the socket’s crimping section (usually 2–3mm), ensuring no damage to the wire conductor.
Insert the stripped wire into the hollow female socket, aligning the conductor with the side hole of the socket.
Use a precision crimping tool to compress the socket around the wire, ensuring a tight, secure bond (avoid over-crimping to prevent socket deformation).
Check the connection: Gently pull the wire to ensure it does not loosen from the socket.
3.Soldering Method (Optional):
Strip the wire insulation and insert the conductor into the socket’s side hole.
Use low-temperature solder (≤260℃) to solder the wire to the socket, avoiding overheating which may damage the gold plating or socket structure.
After soldering, use a cleaning cloth to wipe off residual flux to prevent corrosion.
4.Assembly into Connector Housing:
Align the step section of the pin/socket with the corresponding groove in the connector housing.
Gently press the pin/socket into the housing until the step locks into place (you will hear a slight “click” sound), ensuring it cannot move axially.
Avoid excessive force during insertion to prevent deformation of the pin/socket or damage to the connector housing.
5.Mating & Disconnection:
Mating: Align the male pin with the female socket and insert smoothly, ensuring full mating to guarantee optimal electrical contact.
Disconnection: Pull the male and female contacts straight back to separate them; avoid applying side stress to prevent bending or damaging the pin tip.
6.Storage & Maintenance:
Storage: Keep the product in a dry, dust-free, and anti-corrosive environment. Avoid direct sunlight and high humidity.
Maintenance: Regularly inspect the product for plating damage, loose connections, or deformation. If any defects are found, replace the pin/socket set immediately to avoid electrical failure.
7.Safety Precautions:
Wear anti-static gloves during handling to prevent electrostatic discharge (ESD) damage to sensitive electronic components.
Do not exceed the rated current/voltage to avoid overheating, insulation breakdown, or electrical failure.
Keep the product away from children and avoid accidental ingestion or injury.
Use the product in accordance with the application requirements; do not use it in flammable, explosive, or highly corrosive environments unless specifically customized for such scenarios.
